You cannot miss the Vittoriale in Gardone Riviera (www.vittoriale.it), a complex of buildings, streets, squares, gardens, streams, and an open-air theatre  built in 1921, where during the season you may enjoy wonderful concerts. It was the last residence of the poet Gabriele D’Annunzio. The botanical garden near the house-museum, La Prioria, is also definitely worth a visit.
A romantic walk along the lakeside in Salò (www.tuttogarda.it7salo/salo_guida.htm), a small town of Roman origin. Visit the cathedral with paintings of Moretto and Romanino. Salò is also the birth place of Gasparo da Salò, the father of the violin. Characteristic is the lively market on Saturday. There are also many elegant shops and the traditional inns with their ancient taste.
Tremosine (www.infotremosine.it) is a natural treasure. By following an itinerary through the rocks, you can enjoy the breath-taking view from a natural sheer terrace overlooking the lake.
Desenzano (www.tuttogarda.it) is a lovely town characterized by endless nights spent in restaurant, bistros and fashionable clubs. The elegant shops satisfy the most discerning guests. The remains of an ancient Roman Villa with its mosaics are definitely worth a visit.
Sirmione (www.tuttogarda.it/sirmione/sirmione_guida.htm), you can reach this wonderful small town through the drawbridge of the castle. The cobblestone paths lead you to hidden corners. The little train leads you to Catullus’ Villa, remains of a Roman mansion situated nearby the crystal clear waters of the lake. Sirmione is also a famous health spa and wellness centre.

Malcesine (www.malcesinepiu.it) is a charming village. The panoramic funicular railway leads you to the top of the Mount Baldo (www.funiviedelbaldo.it).
The City of Brescia is definitely worth a visit, with its suggestive S. Giulia monastery, The Romans Domus,  the Capitolium temple, the Castle and the Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo.  (www.abrescia.info).
Verona (www.paesionline.it), the City of Romeo and Juliet, famous for its romantic atmosphere, is full of art and history. It hosts many international events and it is served by the local airport. The timeless charm of attending the opera in the Arena (www.arena.it)… If required, a car with driver is available to the guests.
There are many other places to visit in the area: among them, we mention S. Martino, Peschiera, Valeggio sul Mincio (enchanted village with bike itineraries along the riverside and the botanical garden Parco Sigurtà) and the City of Mantova.
